Kakum National Park is a nature reserve and national park located in the Central Region of Ghana, West Africa. It was established in 1992 and covers an area of 375 square kilometers. The park is known for its diverse tropical rainforest ecosystem, which is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. It is also recognized for its unique canopy walkway, which is the only one of its kind in Africa and offers visitors a chance to experience the rainforest from a bird’s eye view.
